ABOUT

I am a multimedia artist with a background in the art and creative care work facilities. I graduated from Chelsea School of Art in 2013 and since then I have an international practice, and have shown extensively in London, Leeds, Folkestone, Berlin and beyond. I have shown my work everywhere from toilets and warehouses to the South London Gallery. I have an MA from Chelsea College Art and Design (merit) and a BA from Leeds Met (fIrst class).

My most recent achievements have been winning two awards this year, which are Film Tottenham award for best animation and A Global Art prize - special prize award. I also showed my work at The Bomb Factory in Holborn in July 2024.

Beyond this, I have also collaborated on a web-series project “Cats of Tottenham” with a writer. This is a lo-fo comedic animation/puppet-show that looks at the difficulties of low-wage work, feminism and attempts to change the world. This 2-series work was done on a shoe-string budget and is our attempt to make a fully-fledged sitcom without the necessary funding or technical expertise to do so, which reflects my philosophy on how I approach my work.

For the past 3 years I have been developing my work largely in my small flat, filming the everyday in Tottenham on a cheap camera whilst recovering from a mental health condition. I would love to showcase this work in a show as it reveals an honest look at living on the dole.
