About

I am a full-time artist working from my studio, and I also volunteer at a community art space and bookshop in Tottenham. I work mainly with video, lo-fi animation, and mixed media, currently documenting my recovery journey following my diagnosis of BPD.
My practice is rooted in the raw and often complicated experience of recovering from mental illness. Through art, I create spaces for both relief and fantasy, building worlds and characters that allow me to explore, perform, and make sense of my experiences. Through videos, performances, paintings, and my ongoing web series Cats of Tottenham, I document the messy, everyday reality of living with mental illness and navigating recovery.
I graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Art and later completed an MA at Chelsea School of Art. Following my diagnosis in 2019, I started creating Cats of Tottenham, teaching myself animation along the way. Despite never leaving my flat, the project grew beyond anything I expected—winning Best Animation at a film festival in Tottenham, reaching over 9,000 subscribers on YouTube, and gaining more than 50,000 views for an episode in Series 3.
At the heart of my work is a desire to share honest stories about mental health, recovery, and the small moments of imagination and connection that help us keep going.
