Doppelganger
practice performance/video piece

This is a performance rehearsal for a live art piece. For the final performance, I intend to collaborate with another performer as my doppelgänger, aiming for us to look as similar as possible to enhance the piece.

In this rehearsal, I have digitally edited myself into the frame as my double to give a sense of how the final work might appear. The piece delves into my personal struggles with borderline personality disorder (BPD), exploring the tensions between frustration, self-destruction, and self-discovery.

Through performance, I confront the cyclical and emotionally charged nature of living with BPD, using vulnerability and repetition as key elements. This work reflects my ongoing journey to process and communicate my experiences, engaging the audience in a raw, visceral exploration of identity and mental health.
